Emily Briggs scored 19 points, Maggie Treacy had 15 (including 9-10 from the free throw line) and freshman Sarah Bowman added 3 points, 5 rebounds as 3rd seeded Canton defeated # 2 Bolton 43-34 to advance to the Class S state championship game for the second consecutive year. 
 
Julia Quinn scored 2 points as top-seeded Thomaston beat Kolbe-Cathedral 59-37 to move into the Class S finals for the 4th straight year.

Senior Molly Murphy scored a game-high 30 points and fellow senior Alex Goslin added 16 points in # 8 South Windsor's 66-57 loss to # 4 Stamford. Both players finished their HS careers as 1,000 point scorers and helped lead their team to 3 consecutive Final Four appearances in Class LL.

Alex Goslin's layup with 2.6 seconds gave 8th seeded South Windsor a 52-50 upset win over top-seeded Mercy. Goslin (22 points) and Molly Murphy (17 points) led the Bobcats into the Final Four for the 3rd straight year.
